HEALTH: Cosmetic Data Base

     I used the "Cosmetic Data Base" to find the least toxic

organic deodorant. They have a "score key" button: green,

yellow or red and one through ten for degree of risk. An

example is "Right Guard Sport Deodorant Aerosol, Fresh".

This product has a red button and a score of 8,
"high hazard". Some of the catagories of concern are
cancer, developmental/reproductive toxicity, allergies/
 immunotoxicity, etc. They give a list of ingredients and
explain the risks of each in detail.

     The very next product following the "Right Guard"

is "FDS Feminine Deodorant Spray" with the same
score and "high hazard". Hmmmm? Wonder why we're

all getting sick?

     So I decided to order "Lafe's Deodorant Spray

Lavendar" from http://www.vitacost.com/ . It's priced at $3.96.
This product has a green button and a score of 0.
"Low hazard" I'll give it a try. Then I'll write a review
on the Data Base website.

     They have eight major catagories. Makeup,
