The Ultimate Feral Cat?...House Cat?

CHRISTIAN THE LION.

Here is a quote from Wickipedia.org

"Christian was a lion originally purchased by Australians John Rendall and Anthony "Ace" Bourke from Harrods department store of London in 1969 and ultimately reintroduced to the wild by conservationist George Adamson. One year after George Adamson released Christian to the wild, his former owners decided to go looking for him in Africa to see whether Christian would remember them. Surprisingly, he did and with him were other lions in the pride who were also friendly."

John and Ace raised Christian the lion in a city environment.
Christian was their pet and friend. He got too big..... well, he
became an adult lion. So they decided to release him in the wild where he belongs. Then after a year in the wild, learning to hunt
and kill for food John and Ace decided to visit Christian the lion.

Isaiah 11:6-9 NIV
Emphasis added.

6. The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them.

7. The cow will feed with the bear, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox.
8. The infant will play near the hole of the cobra, and the young child put his hand into the viper's nest.
9. They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain, for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.

My comment: In that day, if you are there, we will be able to have a lion for a pet if we want to. The lions will eat straw. OK, so we don't have to buy any more cat food. We'll just grow straw.

In this posting I have combined two of my categories, FELINE and LIFE.

Romans 8:19-22 NASB
For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God.
For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope
that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God.
For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now.

John 1:10-13 NASB
He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him.
He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him.
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name,
who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.
