HEALTH: Coral Calcium + 70 Trace Minerals

I have damaged shoulder joints from years of hard work. Occasionally a knee will go out and I'll be limping around for awhile. When the pain starts getting in the way of everyday life I use to choke down some mineral supplements, MSM and "ester C". The problem with most mineral supplements is assimilation, the older a person is the less they are able to assimilate.

I believe that coral calcium minimizes the assimilation problem with up to 80 percent absorb ability. Coral calcium is a "once living" nutrient. Remember that term. Ideally, anything you use to rebuild or heal your body should be "living" (carrots, apples, etc.) or "once living (coral calcium, "Blue Green Algae, garlic concentrates, berry powders, wheatgrass powder, etc.)

I've been taking one teaspoon of coral calcium per day for a few months. I put it in a half & half mixture of aloe juice and filtered water. About three ounces. My knee had been real bad for a long time. That's all gone now and my joint pains in general are a lot better. The right dose of coral calcium will usually push your ph level to the ideal 6.4-7.0. That's the ph level that doctor Bob Marshal recommends. My ph was in the 5.6 area before the coral calcium. Now it stays around 6.4 to 6.8. That is considered alkaline. I will explain ph balance at a latter date. Acid ph is bad and alkaline ph is good. A strict vegetarian will usually have an alkaline ph. Soda pop will take your ph acid. Most Americans are in the acid ph range and this helps explain the general poor health.

FELINE: How To Keep Your Cat In Shape

Cats have a tendency to be a little lazy so I've been making "Mommy" use the "AB Lounge" while I'm working on the computer. I've noticed that her middle seems to be firming up quite a bit. She's been eating a little more but I think that's due to the extra energy she burns sleeping on the "AB Lounger". They cost a couple hundred new or you might find one at a garage sale for a lot less. Let me know if you have any other creative ways to keep a cat in good shape.

LIFE: Christmas Reflection

I remember a Christmas season when I was a little boy. We were riding our sleds down the street in front of our house. I was about seven years old. Our street was steep enough. The snow was well packed and I don't remember any cars on the street. But at seven years old, who notices cars? We didn't have snow suits or insulated boots. We would play until we were frozen, then we would go inside and thaw out.


My favorite gift of all time was a Lionel train. It would spin the wheels really fast. It had an engine, a coal-car, two boxcars, an open bed car and a caboose. I wore it out over the years.






In those days the real trains had coal cars and I would go to the train yard on Sunday. They would give us a nickle each not to play on the coal. That would buy a quarter pound "Three Musketeers" candy bar.







I really enjoyed the smell of a real Christmas tree.

I had no clue how flammable they were.



To us Christmas was never a religious holiday. Just a season of fun, good food, and family. Pretty much like it is today for a lot of people. For me it is a welcome break from everyday life and a good excuse for a few extra days off work.

I became a christian in 1980 so now I do reflect on the meaning of Christmas. The church calls it the birthday of Jesus. The word "Christmas" is not in the Bible. Although, the Bible is saturated with the prophecies predicting the supernatural birth of Jesus and then fulfillment of the same. There is also historical documentation of the birth and life of Christ. I have a book by Josh McDowell called "Evidence that demands a verdict". This 390 page book is an exhaustive study of the validity of the Bible from a legal standpoint. Josh McDowell went on to write another book called "More evidence that demands a verdict".

So, this Christmas I wish everyone the greatest gift of all.

HEALTH: Pomegranate Juice, Arteries and B P

If I understand these reports, they seem to say that drinking 8 ounces of "Pom Wonderful" daily can possibly do 3 things.

1. Reduce plaque in arteries.

2. Lower systolic blood pressure.

3. Reduce LDL oxidation.

My conclusion? This could warrant further study in the future and a good quality pomegranate juice in my daily diet would be a wise move.

LIFE: Happy Thanksgiving

I remember thanksgivings past. Turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, pumpkin pie, and family. A day of feasting and fun. These are fond memories. There was a season when we played croquet and a season when we played horseshoes.

There are other meanings to thanksgiving. Actually the very concept originates from the Bible.

HEALTH: Carrot Juice

Last week when I posted this link, www.living-foods.com/articles/carrotjuice.html I didn't have time to enter my comments.About 20 years ago I started drinking soda pop at work every day. I was kinda hooked on it. A few years later I learned that drinking soda pop removes calcium from your bones. What would be the long term effect? Lets speculate. Hmmm. Osteo perosis? Joint problems? Whatever. It's not a good thing to be loosing minerals from your bones for several years. I was having various symptoms of mineral loss. Lower back pain, joint pain etc. So I decided that I'd better start rebuilding my bones or end up crippled some day. I did a study on carrot juice and decided that was a good place to start. I juice about one pound of carrots and one apple. That will make about 24 oz of juice. The minerals in vegetables have been converted to be readily available and easily absorbed by our body. We are suppose to get our minerals from our vegetables. I always have plenty of energy and feel younger for a couple of days after drinking a big glass of carrot juice. I'm also taking coral calcium every day now, so I'm well on my way rebuilding my bones. If you make your own juice, you should drink it right away or within 24 hours for maximum benefit. You'll need to refrigerate it in glass jars filled to the top. I put my carrot juice in 4 ounce Gerber juice bottles in my little cooler bag when I go to work.Carrot apple juice is an excellent health drink, especially if you don't eat enough vegetables. My suggestion? Knock the dust off of your juicer and get to work.

I've been using pink sea salt for about two years. I've noticed a big difference in taste with this pink sea salt. HEALTH: Iodine Test

I learned an iodine test from listening to Roex radio broadcast. Here's how it works. I bought a little bottle of iodine at Wal-Mart and painted a golf ball size spot on my stomach. If it is still there after 24 hours that means that my thyroid has enough iodine. However, if my body absorbs it all then my thyroid is lacking in iodine. When I do this test the iodine is usually gone in 24 hours. So I apply the iodine every day until it's still there after 24 hours. The way I understand it is that when the iodine is still there after 24 hours, then my thyriod has enough iodine in it. LIFE: As Moses Lifted Up The Serpent

In John 3:14 Jesus said, "And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up" (King James Version)

When Jesus spoke of "the Son of man" He was referring to Himself. When He said that He must be lifted up, He was referring to His death on the cross to pay for the sins of the world. Three days later He arose from the dead to later ascend back into heaven.

Here is the account of the serpent in the wilderness:

Then the Lord sent fiery (burning) serpents among the people; and they bit the people, and many Israelites died. And the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you; pray to the Lord, that He may take away the serpents from us. So Moses prayed for the people. And the Lord said to Moses, Make a fiery serpent (of bronze) and set it on a pole; and everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live. HEALTH: Diabetes Blood Sugar 100

About six weeks ago I was in the office and a co-worker was very distressed. She has diabetes and her blood sugar had been out of control for several days. HEALTH: Canker sores mouthwash

A simple solution for the pain and discomfort of canker sores is a mouthwash of white oak bark tea.

Go to any health food store that sells bulk herbs and buy a few ounces of white oak bark.

To make the tea, put a quart of clean water in a sauce pan. Add about 2 heaping tablespoons of white oak bark. You can make stronger tea by simply adding more white oak bark. Bring it to a boil, then turn it down to a gentle simmer. Simmer for 20 minutes uncovered then strain the tea through a screen.

After it cools just put a little bit in your mouth, slosh it around for awhile and spit it out. I rinse my mouth with this tea several times per day, especially after eating and between meals. I continue this routine for a few days until the canker sores are gone.
